Domino Outrigger Problem

Just got my Domino a week or so ago.

I was trying to use the "outrigger" to do a series of mortises  and all of a sudden the pin didn't catch in the previous mortise.

When I looked at the "outrigger" I noticed that the pin had come out and was missing.

Luckily, I found it on my table (with the housing and the spring). I put it back in and pressed pretty hard.

For the time being it seems to be ok, but has anyone had a similar problem and should I glue or epoxy the assembly into the hole?

The tool is already saving me a substantial amount of time and I can see the quality builtin.

I am surprised that the barrel could pull out like that. However, in all likelihood, it is still under warranty, so I would not try to repair it, but send it in. If it is out of warranty, and it does come loose again, then epoxy would be best.

Oh Geez, I need to read more carefully. If you just got this a week ago, then return it. If you can't return it to the store you bought it at, Festool pays shipping for the first year of the 3 year warranty. Call them.
