Domino Refinement

I am even more convinced that using the earth magnets to reference the Domino is an outstanding method of postioning mortises on narrow pieces like rails and styles. I just completed another cabinet and it took less than 20 minutes to both mortise and glue and clamp a four-piece rail and style for a cabinet I'm building. I assembled the frame, clamped it with my Bessey clamps, and it required no adjustment to achieve square. Now that I have used the maget idea a number of times, I have a high degree of confidence in that method. The registration is spot on. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a try. I use 3 10mm earth magnets to center my mortises nearly perfectly centered in a 1.75" rail. Be sure you switch the magnets to the other side of the reference pins on the Domino when you do a corner.

Oh no!!!  You mean we have to think??! ;D  I can tell you for sure, I'm gonna make that mistake about a zillion times .  Eventually, I'll learn though.  A great idea!  And so simple!
