I see that California Warning quite often shopping on US sites, and have no real clue what it in fact really means, but figure it has something to do with saving the earth from our wretched polluting tyrany. California has often been at the lead when it comes to environmental initiatives even though they are deeply in debt, but it begs me to question whether it has something to do with when the "Big One" comes along, that it is somewhat geared to the rest of the country/continent/world responding more favourably to them for having been one of the idealic places to live in the world despite the fact they are sitting on a ticking time bomb, and the outsiders being more sympathetic to them. Just my "in the back of my head" thinking on it over the years. Nothing against them personally from myself, but it has been one of my perceived notions when it comes to their righteous similar type initiatives. I guess it's the same way, when we see people suffering living in a known floodway/tornado prone/earthquake regions after disaster finaly strikes, we say to ourselves, "But why would you live there if you knew that". At least California has propelled a lot of good - or so I hope - with their initiatives. Personaly, I'm terrified of them getting the "Big One". It would devaste all of us well beyond their borders, possibly worldwide.
