Very funny! I haven't used my buscuit jointer since getting my domino, and I had just purchased a new bag of #20 buscuits. I hate to waste, but can't bear to use it again.

Kodi, sorry for any confusion I caused. The dominos in the ends of the rails have over 10 inches of wood behind them and can't blow out. I use a Japanese chisel hammer because it is easy to balance, has a rounded striking face and is usually handy. The comment was meant to imply that these dominos which can't blow out the back are tapped in with a steel faced hammer. Tapped means gently enough to let the air or glue behind the domino equalize itself.

I thought it had to do with the wood and not the hammer. [laughing]
I usually cut the mortises on the middle setting to allow for glue squeeze out. I've had plenty of glue-related blowouts. Maybe those Dominos should have a glue-relief groove down the center to help prevent this problem.
