Domino XL on Ebay - CHEAP anybody buy from them (STOLEN)

I guess it's on the same subject,  not too long ago, I saw an ad on Craigslist for a domino 500 for $450, from a place in PA, it was a returned item supposedly not up to the standards of Amazon ( this is one of the companies that buys the undesired returns from amazon and sells them for cheap). The domino looked new, still had the blue plastic on its head,  etc.. Only issue I guess was that the systainer was missing the latch. I asked Shane if it was a legit domino and he said it was cool, so sometimes u do get lucky and not burned, but of corse my circumstance was a personal transaction. Anyways best of luck to those that do try to same some money.

Kevin/all,

Respectfully, I really don't think this situation has anything to do with Festool's pricing strategies or dealer agreements, neither of which are something I am willing to discuss.

This is a situation where someone fraudulently obtained Festool goods and was selling them on eBay. As soon as I saw the post about the listings and took a look at them, I could tell that there was something fishy going on. When I looked at the things being sold by this seller, it was lots of multiple products from various manufacturers, all of which were high dollar and all in new condition. I contacted the seller and asked some questions and go no response, another red flag for me. When they are selling multiple groups of five Domino XLs at a time, that's a red flag.

Our warranty states that it may be void if you purchase from someone other than an authorized dealer. In the future, I would suggest that you verify the authenticity of the seller prior to making a purchase if the warranty matters to you.

It's an unfortunate situation for many and I have done the best I can to help those affected and prevent others from being duped.

Shane

Maybe I shoulda explained that I'm against what the stolen goods seller is doing, excuse me for that. That was one of my first purchases and since then almost everything else has been woodcraft, because I'd rather the B&M stores stay up.
