Dominos in 3/8 stock

Hi, how can I put a 4mm domino in 10mm (3/8) stock? The height setting does not allow me to come down far enough to centralize in such a thin piece.  The only thing I can think of is to fit a 5mm or so shim to fit under the rest?

Yes. A shin of some sort is the solution.

Maybe a scrap part of your 10mm stock and setting the height to 15mm...

You can work from the top down or from the bottom up shimming as necessary. The centerline of the bit is 10mm above the baseplate (bottom of tool).  Depending on your piece size you might find one method easier than the other.

Shooting from the hip,
you cant move the height of cut block all the way back and drop the fence all the way down. then manullay adj the fence use a spacer etc.\
