I going to be doing a run of tables and benches. My questions is are they able to be pin like a tenon, I pin my top and bottom rails or to the seat on bench back rests and using them to align the tabletop extention leaves? Are the domino's a compressed wood product or  a solid wood?  Or am I going to need to make my own  loose tenon to support the structure and have the ability to be reused as an alignment pin. Thanks

Are you planning to use the large Domino 700 tenons?

I built a run of outdoor Ipe benches using the large Sipo tenons. They appear to be solid wood and not compressed wood. I pinned the tenons because I was worried about glue adhesion in Ipe. After a year in the weather, the joints are all still strong.

My benches did not have backs. If I had put backs on the benches, I would not have relied on tenons to provide the structural support for the back unless I used a lot of them.
