Hi Gang,
Other than a bit of playing around, my Domino setup has been gathering dust. Simply because the commission backlog has not allowed me the time to play with it and then come up with in-house procedures on how to use it.
In looking at retrofitting some of our designs, I've captured all of the sizes of dominos in Sketchup.
This allows me to plan for the size, number and placement needed in various joints. I was wondering if anyone has done enough work with the unit to know just how accurate the fence can be set. As an example, I place a domino in a joint in the drawing and I can the get the distance from the centerline of the domino to the reference face. Let's say that might be 20mm. ( or I can also measure from the edge of the domino to the reference face ). Is the scale and adjustment on the fence accurate enough to simply "dial in" these values ???
