There have been some previous posts about door clamps and in one of them i mentioned the clamps we are taught to make out of scrap and promised to post some pics when next i had the need and time to make some.
I cant find the original post to resurrect but here are the pics anyway hope they might be of help to some.
The key is the angle on one side of the cut out and the wedge with a corresponding angle.
Around i in 4 is a good ratio.
