I have a couple of mortise locks to fit, and of course any excuse to get a new tool!
Does anyone have one those jigs that clamps to the door and is powered by a drill? Would they be accurate enough to cut mortises for m&t joints in entrance doors, gates etc, as well as for lock fitting? Can't justify buying one for the occasional lock fit, but if it can be used for general mortise cutting, I will probably order one.
The one I'm looking at is the same design as the Hafele (Souber?) version, but is made in Australia and looks a lot more substantial.
