hi there.
i have been asked to dor the doors for a kitchen that is to be built (buyibg in cabinets but want unique doors.
they want a patern routed into a veneered 3/4" mdf .
i have to create a few samples to show them the shapes.
i have a trand vari jig that i use at the moment to create the shapes i use for the other doors. it is 4 extrusions that slide past each other to make the size you want. i cut out the shape i want in the corner for some 16mm melamine(same as the jig thickness). double sided tape holds it together long enough to do a run of doors.
i was going to use this opertunity to make up a good set of different shaped pieces to go in the corners.
in the past i have used just simple quarter round and concave shapes but want to expand the posibilities.
what i was wondering was what shapes have ye used on yer jigs for this type of work.
has any one got any pics of advanced doors or even the jigs of the doors ye have done.
thanks in advance
alan
