I thought it would take a while to realize the savings of the long-life bag I got for my CT26, despite getting a pretty good deal on a second hand one, but I figured out how to recoup the value even more quickly.  When the bag on the Ridgid shop vac -- which I still use for the thickness planer, router table and shop cleaning -- gets close to full, I simply suck out 1/2 to 3/4 of the contents into my CT26, and dispose of the contents in the trash.  I haven't quite recovered my original investment, but I'm getting close.

BTW, my wife is currently cleaning the laundry room with the CT26, which she specifically requested for the task.

I told my wife the the Festool vac is good but not nearly as good as your Dyson, last thing I need is the wife pinching it [big grin]
