DRC 18/4 Li 4,2 Set 768926 this new quad drill uses 18v 4.2 mAh batterries are they compatible with the Carvex?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Only PSC 420 Li 18 and PSBC 420 Li 18 versions.
No 15V versions, as the same with drills.
Ampere of 4,2 A should not be a problem and only says something about the capacity of the batteries.
The more the better, Carvex battery saws could do with more capacity.

There is only one version of Carvex PSC or PSBC which can be bought with 15v or 18v batterries..

So from that I surmise the DRC 18v Li 4.2 batteries fit the Carvex cordless and it's just the rubber bumper that seperates the different 18v batteries physically..

To confirm, yes you can use the 4.2Ah battery with your cordless Carvex without issues.

"Ah" (Amp hours) is merely the capacity which translates into run time basically.

Think of Ah as the size of a gas tank.  The larger, the longer you can drive / run your tool.

Thanks for the clarification on the batteries Shane and Shawn! The cordless quad drill DRC 18/4 Li 4,2 look interesting indeed and it would be a nice addition to my setup, and give two additional batteries for using with the Carvex.. I like that the DRC appears to be able to do a hammar drill function and impact driver function as well well as normal drilling up to 50mm..

I need to thank my colleague in the UK, Phil, for helping with the information on these drills since we don't have them here. This is a break down of what each model does:

P.D.C 18v – Percussion
D.R.C 18v – Without percussion
P.D.20 – Percussion and corded
D.R.18 – Without percussion and corded

It's a jungle out there, then it's the P.D.C 18v with percussion that has me interested..

Thanks Shane!

The PDC 18-4 is the ducks guts for sure.

With 4.2Ah batteries it'll be even more awesome!!
