Just got my first 3D printer this week (Bambu X1C), so time to work off some of the list for 3D printed custom items. I've been planning this for awhile. Attached is a picture of the original systainer using the dreaded "pick and pluck" foam, and this is what I came up with.

I used a parameterized Fusion 360 file to generate the different sized "Bott" style boxes that go in it, including some half height stackable for the 50x50 boxes (things like dremel cutting discs are perfect for that).

Also made a couple custom bit holder inserts for the 100x150 boxes.

Still a work in progress, I need to design and print a custom cradle for the dremel tool itself, and also a battery tray.

I'll be adding to the 3D printed sys 3 boxes thread that already exists to explain the parameterized file when I get a chance.

Printed in PETG.

Note, one of the bit holders is actually taller (40mm) with beefier legs so that the bits just hang from it.

Very nice. How do you like the printer? Ive always wanted one but not too tech savvy for the designing.

Once you make a bit more progress, would love to get some of these files. I have this exact Dremel myself.

It seems to me you could have done this with the standard inserts and then have some printed accessories in them. Still looks cool though!
