Drill Holder for front of Systainer

I am going to start my DIY sys cart build but while I work on a few other projects I wanted to design a drill/impact driver holder to fit in the label slot of the systainer. I designed one up for my M12 Impact and it works perfectly. Its a bit clunky but I kinda had to have as much support as possible as the slot is somewhat thin. I will be posting the design up in Thingiverse for those of you who have a 3D printer. I will also be working on a design to hold my M12 drill for the other side.

That's a cool idea.  Those without a 3D printer might be able to use the  Adapt-L as a starting point to build this type of holder.  Or other holders. It would take care of the slot mount portion.

Did you print this in PLA, ABS, PETG or something more exotic? 

I've been thinking I need to take a weekend and do some projects like this.  First I need to get the 3D printer back in operational state.

The one in the picture is PLA. It was a prototype. After trying it PLA is probably sufficient because of its mass but ABS or PETG would probably be ideal. I am going to try and modify it a bit to be less clunky and not use so much filament.

Another route for those of us who are without a 3D printer is checking with your local library to see if they offer a printing service.  Mine does and I've had a few projects like this printed for very nominal cost.
