I dropped the RP 150 on the floor while moving a beam.  Now it won't start on either mode.  Any ideas on what may be the problem?

Could be almost anything, but the first thing that comes to mind is that the carbon brushes are no longer engaged with the armature.

I opened up the sander and the brushes are engaged with the armature, the spring is providing tension and the brushes are not worn out. The plug in cord is ok.  I used on my ETS EC and that starts.  A possibility is that the barrel the plug attaches to may be messed up although it fell on the head.  I also checked the on/off switch and it appears to be ok.
Any other possibilties?

I opened it up and the electrical connector looks ok with no visible damage.
Also checked to check the pad locking mechanism and the pad rotates when it's  set to random orbit.
I will order some new brushes and a new electrical connector. Will Festool work on out of warranty tools?  I don't  know of any place in the San Antonio  area that does repairs on Festool.  Any leads?

If you're ordering parts based purely on guessing, I'd say sending it to Festool might be the better option overall.

At least you'll get a fully working sander back.

Since you have it apart I would recommend checking the continuity on the switch with a meter.  It's possible the switch was damaged when it was dropped and no longer making contact
