Dry Bar

Just put the finishing touches on a dry bar I made in an unused nook in our dining room.  We live in an old farmhouse circa 1880's.  A lot of the home's woodwork is poplar stained to mimic mahogany.  ---So I stained the new cabinets to match.  It's a quartz counter top with a glass/copper tile backsplash.

There were some streaks yes.  My work pales in comparison to the original trim work.  Must be the 140 yr old growth.
And by the way, the finish on this door and the rest of the house is original to the house.  Circa 1800's It's been in the family since 1910 and the elders said they never remembered anyone refinishing.
