Probably my first project where I used almost all Festool tools. It's not perfect, but it was fun getting some experience with all the capabilities of the brand.

I was disappointed with the black finish, but when I saw the blue lights it makes total sense. That looks rather stunning.

Awesome cabinet!  I too was disappointed when I saw the black finish.  But that all changed when I saw the finished product.  Just goes to show that you shouldn't form an opinion til you have all the facts!  Great job and thanks for sharing.  And finally, welcome to the FOG!  [welcome]

I debated about the finish, but I live in a log house and I'm surrounded by wood so I try to throw some painted pieces around.

Again the initial look, to me was disappointing in black... Which show my bias for light coloured wood.

In the context of that room however it is exactly perfect in black, and it is an eye pleaser.
