Can someone tell me if the Rtsc and Etsc and Dtsc bases are interchangeable?

Without checking, my first inclination would be no. If it was possible, they would only sell the one machine and you could buy either base for it. (or maybe even both in the same set) but that's not the Festool way.

I'm actually surprised by the delta pad coming with the RO90. Seems out of character.  [huh]

They probably saw the writing on the wall when they released something in the same size/form factor as the DX93, which was in need of a refresh itself.

Although the DX93 can reach into places a little better because of the head shape, but I'm guessing the folks who NEED that functionality are a rounding error in the grand scheme of sales.  Or at least, that's what the bean counters decided.

[member=75217]squall_line[/member] I was slightly kidding. I've chosen to see that attachment as an added value to the small sander, which may not have as great of an appeal without it?
I can honestly say, that's why I bought it initially, which was before I discovered how great it really was.
Then I moved up to the RO125, for greater areas. I wouldn't give up the smaller one though.

You’d have pry my cold dead fingers off my RO 90 to get me to give it up. I have been doing a lot of edge shaping lately on 2 to 4 inch thick material. Starting off with a Kutzall disk on an angle grinder. The RO 90 is the perfect tool to continue to refine the shape. Usually throwing a foam pad on and going up to 220 or 320.
