Dust Collector Hose End ?

Hi!
Years ago I bought the mid-diameter (36?) hose with the 'cleaning kit'.
I never really felt like the accessories (floor tool, crevice tool, upholstery tool, etc) really fit quite right, having to be stuck inside the rubber end of the 36 hose.

After much use, the hose end has started splitting.

Question 1: Am I doing this right? These parts all came in the same kit...so I figure yes?
Question 2: What replacement part # do I need to order? There are several available, and I can't tell which one is what I need.

See attached. Thanks!
-Eric.

The older style metal tubes have a smooth end that is a very very tight fit in de D36 hose end.

The hose end is replaceable, note that the new version has a slight bajonet.

The metal bend piece isn't supplied anymore, even the set with metal tubes now comes with a plastic bend piece with a bleed valve on it. My experience is that piece fits a bit better.
