dust collector orientation

Hello to the FOG throbbing brain!

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question. (Because it feels like it is)

Does it matter if the vac is oriented as shown in the pic?

I would say that is not ideal.  The potential issue I see is the dust/debris will eventually fill up to the main filter possibly reducing air flow.  When the vac is sitting normally the dust/debris fills from bottom up and dosen't start reducing air flow to the main filter until the bag is almost completely full.  Standing on end like your vac is the air can be reduced as soon as the dust reaches the main filter height.
