Just saw about 20mm off the cyclone nipple and the 36mm hose will fit.

I found that off-the-shelf 2-1/2" hoses from both HD (Ridgid) and Lowes (Shop Vac) fit fine as is. The HD hose is 7 feet long and much stiffer than the slightly longer Shop Vac hose. The Ridgid hose is stiff enough to stand up and make a fair sweep to the top of a Dust Deputy. The Shop Vac hose tends to kink and collapse in that application.
