My customer was so confident in our dust extraction that she started cooking on the oven in the middle of cutting trim.  We were also sanding (right near the oven), as well as using the trion jig saw.

Looks like she's willing to cook in a gut and rehab type enviroment... [smile]

Caught me by surprise!  I'm not even quite sure what it is that she was making...  In fact, I smelled the food cooking long before I even knew she was cooking it.

I absolutely love the kapex... Sadly, I feel like I want another one!  I have 2 other Ridgid saws and I feel like I don't even want them showing up on a job site.  The dust collection is excellent... Although, I should note that every once in a while I have to take the filter out and clean it.  If I don't, I end up getting more dust - and I prefer as little as possible.  This is with the Auto Clean unit.  I haven't had much of a chance to use it with our standard CT26 because my wife usually uses that one.  But that's just something small... in the end it doesn't really matter because all that matters is that the customer is happy, and in this case, she thought it made sense to start cooking while we cut trim in the kitchen.

FYI - I really like the extensions too... these home made ones are awesome for clamping and sanding... and sometimes clamping and doing some finer jig saw cuts.  The only downside of this setup is there are so many pieces, The stand, the top that the saw sits on, the saw itself, the 2 extensions... and then the vac - and maybe even 2 or 3 hoses depending on what you're doing.

I'm digging your setup.  Can you take some close up / detail shots?
