Dutch wall

Decided to start posting some of my pre-FOG projects now that I have a friendly place to do so.  This is what my girlfriend' aunt lovingly refers to as her "Dutch wall."  This was my first time building cabinets, and one of the first real workouts I ever gave my kreg jig.  Because of budgetary constraints, everything is pine, except the door which I didn't make.  I did the installation, and in fact built the room the door leads to as well.[attachimg=#]

I don't know.  When I was done, she said, "I love it!  It looks so...Dutch!"  I personally don't know what Dutch looks like.

Oh shuhs, I'm starting to blush now, I'm not nearly that good looking.  [embarassed]

Maybe she meant Danish or Scandinavian?

Lots of Alvar Aalto interiors have that "woody" feel to them, but he was Finnish.
