Until 3am Pacific time Dec. 8

Code is PHLDAYTEN

Good for everything including Festool stuff. Maximum discount $100.

I often get some detail wrong when posting this sort of stuff so if you notice an error please post a correction.

Thanks, Michael.
These discounts are becoming regular. There were 10%, 15%, 20% off everything in the past year. I wonder, is it a good or bad sign for the company? Since eBay, unlike other retailers, does not have its own inventory, having sales seems odd. That's a lot to absorb for a trading platform.
Anyway, time to check some Festools!

Where on ebay... there are a lot of Festool items there.  Please forgive,  I’m new.

Their sales growth has been comparatively stagnant when looking at the likes of Amazon and Walmart online sales, which they view as their direct competitors given where the majority their sales are derived from new products.  I think that’s one reason they limit the coupons to a short window, so they don’t find themselves subsidizing auctions on used products.

In any event, I’m betting this is nothing more than a short term strategy to juice sales, but in the long term I doubt it will have a measurable impact assuming they have to discontinue or reduce these promotions substantially.  So get it while the going is good.

Everything.  Any seller.  Go to the homepage and you’ll see a banner.  When checking out look for the little box at the end of the checkout process for promotional codes and coupons and enter the code.  They don’t go out of their way to make it obvious.  And if there are multiple items you want, add them to your cart (even from multiple sellers) and check out once using the code.  The code can only be used in one checkout process per account, but it will apply to all items in the cart up to the $100 cap.

They charge sellers 10% for selling so 10% off is a wash for them. It's more of an advertising method to get people over to eBay. I take advantage of it whenever it's offered.
