Greetings:
I have to edge band a whole kitchen with solid wood strips. After a lot of thought to trimming, I decided to go with the 1010 (ordered today) with edge guide so it can be used horizontally. I was going to get the MFK 700, but it seems to be a one-trick pony, or maybe two!. The 1010 will, I think, be more versatile. I found Brice Burrell's web site particularly useful.
Anyway, what bit would you suggest I use for the trimming and should it have a bearing?
I also considered the Hoffman planer but its very expensive and really does only one thing, albeit very well, I understand.
Thank you,
Hastings
