I understand that Festool offers education programs and building classes that help to learn how to use the tools properly.  How do I find out when and where these events take place?

Thanks!

Hey Shane!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread (AND I signed up for the mailing list), but now I'm wondering...

What is your definition of a "couple of days"???  [big grin]

Thanks!

Andy

Ha! I guess I got called out. Andy, I have to admit that it's taking longer than expected. Truth be known, I need to finish up the programming on the new training website, festooltraining.com. I have two classes for Indy in mid to late March to list. Sorry for the delays. This is a very busy time for us all with all of the new product introductions and other projects going on.

No guarantees, but I'll see if I can't get it done over the weekend.

Shane

Ok, ok. So, I realize that I didn't get it done as quickly as I had expected, but... sometimes I need some down time. February has been a crazy month. But, I've finally gotten the site ready to accept training registrations. You guys get to be my guinea pigs.

Please report any issues to me via email at sho@festoolusa.com and provide as much detail as possible.

I just posted three new classes for Indianapolis. Classes for Vegas should be published soon. As soon as I verify the registration process is working flawlessly, I'll turn on the script that will notify subscribers automatically via email.

Here are the newly listed classes:

Shane, I didn't receive an automatic email notice yet.  I just sighed up manually for the Doors and Drawers and it worked fine for me.  I also received my auto response from Sedge.  All seems to be working so far.

Same experience here.  The sign-up was flawless, and Sedge's e-mail arrived very quickly.

Make that 3 that signed up and received the confirmaton from Sedge.

What class(es) did you guys sign up for?  Doors and Drawers for me.

Thanks for the feedback, gents. Glad to hear it worked well for you and that you got your confirmation emails.

I'll be turning on the automated emails to subscribers shortly.

Shane

Doors and drawers. The wild card and I know I stuck my head out is...I am supposed to have Jury Duty that Tuesday. Somehow I will get out of that. This is too important of an opportunity. Heck, I get called every year anyway.

Darcy, come on!  Video conferencing.

From which way?

Option 1 means everyone in the class will have to watch a C-section.

Option 2 means I will be building doors and drawers in the operating room while she is having a C-section.

Hmmmmm.

...on your phone, although you never know who else might be into watching surgeries/deliveries.

If I could figure out an excuse for missing the birth of our 3rd child....... [scratch chin]

You'd think by now you would have figured out what causes this...

That just goes to show you how fast these classes fill up.

I saw this last night... nobody had even commented after Shane's post yet.  I had the form for doors & drawers all filled out and just before pushing submit I talked myself into double checking something with my schedule this morning.

Schedule all works out to I attempted to fill out the doors & drawers form again - class is full.

With all the demand, I'm going to say again what many have said in the past - can Festool USA video record and produce training DVD's or YouTube segments or something of the key points of some of these classes?  I'm guessing people would pay a small fee for a DVD or download - or a larger fee in a new "needed" tool.

Thanks.
