EHL 65 E Planer Discontinued

I really wish Frank had just contacted us directly instead of taking to this forum to bash us...we always take care of our customers.

That would have been the proper way. Mistakes can always happen, and Frank should have given you the chance to correct it first, before this public burning.

My little nephew threw temper tantrums like this, but he eventually grew out of them.  He now deals with problems rationally.

This is strange!

In Europe the EHL65 planer has recently been rewamped with the plug-it option and is readily available:

Of course, this after I had improved my battered beasts already:

The ergonomics are slightly improved (grip feels different) but still on the poor side. (I am a long term user and I still have two of them, the ergonomics could easily have been improved.)
I would not recommend the EHL 65 to anyone with carpal tunnel syndrome, I think it would exacerbate things! Sheer quality of cut and the capacity is top notch though and the cutter lasts a long, long time. 

It seems like NA is a little behind in this update of the machine.
