Engineered flooring recommendations (UK) please

I am planning to have an engineered wood floor fitted to my lounge and hallway and am unsure of the best make/model of flooring to use. I would like to have a decent wear layer of 6mm or so if possible so it will stand being re-sanded a few times. Can anyone recommend a good product? I realise that better products are likely to cost more and don't mind paying extra for the right product as long as it is good value.

I am also open to suggestions that solid wood is worth considering instead.
