Greeting folks,
This is two posts in one thread. First a new product then a project with it.
About 5 months ago, I was shopping in Lee Valley store and came across this new product called playwood connectors. First I did not care but later I came back and ask few things and opened the box with one of the sale person that I know him for years. I liked the product quality and what you can do with it. I did not have any plan or idea but I bought two boxes at white color to take it home and try it out. I just cut 4 pieces 400mm out of mdf and put them together to see how stable is it and it did pass my test. I can stand on it and it is very stable.
Instead of keep talking about this, here is a picture of what you get in the box and the website.

Now, the project!
Recently a lady friend just bought a house about one month before new year and nightmare just begun. The problem is not one or two but almost everything. The old house was big and the new one is small and non of the furnitures fit right. She has a lot of clothes and shoes and a very large size old school entryway wardrobe that does not fit here in a small hallway. We look on line and went to few stores but again three problems. Expensive, too big or too small. The last store that we went with no luck but when I was driving back home I just remember the playwood connector and they did have a picture of a wardrobe in their website. I started laughing and she said it is not funny and I told her how about a gift from me for your new house, I make it for you. She knows me very well but did not want to ask me to build one because she also knows that I am extremely busy.
With this connectors all you need is nice panels then you done. I am not starting this project but it is done I just had to wait till paint cure then put them together. Unfortunately I only took one picture and battery on my 22 years old camera died and by the time I got it the project was done but I am good now and price was reasonable for battery so I bought three of them because I like the camera.
Here is the only picture that I could take when brought the lumber in the shop.

And I took this picture this morning before I start put it together. This is everything that I need to complete the project.

All done so good so quick. To make this panels like this it will cost and needs time but with sheet goods it will be faster and cheaper.
The lumber that I have used here is Alder and the paint is general finishes snow white milk paint. The hardware that I used here are import or bought and I made the rest out of 11 g aluminum and powder coated black. If any question so please ask.

Looks great.

What tools and technique did you use to produce the wavy front panel?

Thanks,
I am using festool HL 850E planer with rustic fine blade.

I also made this floating tv stand for her daughter but they do not know about this because it is a surprise gift. I just hope they do not get used to this. Her bedroom is small and they put the tv on dresser which is not a right place.
