I just got an Ets 150/5 not that long ago and picked up the interface pas for it.  i am having trouble with it sticking to the pad.  even with pad savers that are new and super sticky i am just having trouble with the interface pad sticking to anything.  Is this common?  I need a new one but might give a super soft pad a try if this is common.  Are there any trice to revitalize the velcro?

bump hoping for some thoughts on the interface pad so I can either get a new one tomorrow or a super soft pad.

To put it simply its warn out. Same thing happened to my first one on my ETS 125.

Obviously I do not know how you used yours, but my dealer said they are not designed to be sanding all surfaces in a curve at once, such as in bull nose skirting.  [embarassed] [eek]    Rather they should be guided around the curve.

Our cabinet maker sanded some trim for a house i i sanded some drywall with it.  i am kinda surprised how fast it wore out actually.  I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.  Not sure that I want another one if that is the life expectancy.  Might try a super soft i guess and see how far that will take me. Thanks Untidy.

Should have also said that I haven't thrown my old one out as it is handy for hand sanding curves.
