Purchased an ETS 125 REQ September 5th this year and didn’t use it much at first. I’m using it a lot more now and noticed that it has a once per revolution wobble. I took it back to woodcraft where I purchased and they confirmed. They didn’t have any in stock to replace mine. Just need to get a new head it seems. Anyone else have this issue?  Or could it be something other than the head being warped?

Thanks

Thanks.  The guys at Woodcraft told me to reach out to this group in hopes than a festool admin would reach out and help me getting a new sanding disk head.  No reason this should be bent or warped.

This should be covered under the warranty which includes shipping both ways. I suggest you call Festool 888-337-8600 talk to service and most likely send it in. That way it can be thoroughly checked out for anything beyond the pad that may be causing the problem.

Is this leaving big swirl marks? I am having an issue with mine that seems to rotate/wobble and is leaving horrible marks. I wonder if we have the same issue. Looking for help as well.

We have this happen from time to time. Usually is is be aide the plastic backer on the pad has a crack in the hard plastic and makes a wobble when it goes over the bearings. I would take the pad off and check the plastic backer for cracks. We put a new pad on and it fixes it right up. Worth a look and only takes a min.

That is interesting. I just got an ETS EC 150/5 and it had a severe vibration, maybe something similar to yours. You think the pad is the issue?
