Does anyone know if the ETS 125 is available in 110v .

Can't seem to find any ETS sanders in 110v

I'm not sure it is available in 110V. I remember looking myself earlier this year but as festoolviking says you are probably best asking your dealer.

There are some places there that have 110V 50hz.

Unfortunately, unlike a number of their other tools, the North America ETS 125 EQ is a 60Hz machine only.  That means that even if you were to use a U.S. ETS 125 120v 60Hz sander on an adapter in the UK, it would run slower and more importantly....hotter.  Not a good option.

Best option is a 110V plug-it made for the UK tools...

Going the opposite way...ie 50Hz only machine running on a 60Hz service wouldn't be problem generally. Would run a bit faster, but cooler. Unfortunately, the OP has got a pretty hard dilemma to deal with.  Good luck with a solution.

Cheers,

Frank

Just curious, but why would you want a US voltage sander while(whilst) in the UK?

In the UK you can only use 110V tools via a transformer when working on site.

Technically speaking you are supposed to be able to use 240v via an RCD but in reality this is rarely allowed by site managers.

Ok thanks well I've ordered a 110v one today my dealer said its a European model

We will see

Anyway sparktrician

It's sort of your fault I ordered it .from another thread lol
