Was there ever an ETS EC 125/5?

For whatever reason, when I started getting into Festool I thought they offered both a 3mm and 5mm orbit in the ETS EC 125. Is this correct? Was this version offered before?

The only 5mm orbit sander I have is the RO150 and while it's not terrible for ROS, it's not terribly convenient either. Was thinking about getting the ETS or ETS EC in 5mm. Or is that "overkill"?

Yeah strange.
I also would have thought they made a 125/5.
But I don't see it and I found a thread from 2021 that says they don't make a 125/5

However, they do make an ETS EC 150/5, and the 150 is probably a better idea anyways.

I have the ETS EC's and hands down they're the best sanders I've ever used. I've never been keen on the 125's as the 150's offer so much extra surface area cutting down sanding time.

If either of my ETS EC 150's died, I'd replace it with the same in a heart beat.

Having the RO90 is a fantastic complement to the sanders, far easier to manhandle than the RO150.

No, the ETS EC 125 was never offered in a 5 mm orbit version. Way back when this was first introduced into the US market in 2015, I had an inclination to modify an ETS EC 150/5 into an ETS EC 125/5. However, for my applications, the effort wasn't worth the work involved. Ten years later and I feel the same way.
