ETS 150/5 Help required

Not sure if this question has been asked before, I would like to run my ETS 150/5 where there is no electrical supply. Does anyone know what size generator I would need to run this?

the smallest generator should run an ets150 it only draws around 350w

And add the wattage for the vac if you will be running it with dust collection.

I don't think it would take a very big generator either way.

My guess (haven't tried it, just looking at numbers) is a 1600w generator will do it fine, a 900w might be okay if you keep the vacuum turned down and a 600w will be fine for the sander only.  The CT Mini is 400-1200 watts depending the setting you use and the sander is 310 watts.

Please remember that the ETS 150/5 and all the Festool CTs involve electronic speed control.

So, they need the same quality generators as does the Kapex. There have been several recent threads on this subject. Bottom line is that the generator needs to deliver genuine sine wave AC, similar to mains power.
