Hi. I have had this sander for 9 years or so (it is my favorite sander). About a year or two in the unit would be difficult to start and this condition got worse so I sent it in for warranty repair. The replaced the brushes and it worked great until a couple months ago when the problem re-emerged. I got on EKATs and could not find the part. I emailed Festool and thy provided the exact manual but it does not include brushes as a line replaceable item, just the entire electronics board from what I can tell (see attached). I have also found a website that sells replacement brushes but they are currently listed as out of stock.
Does anyone have any idea where to buy replacement brushes or how to get Festool to not replace half the unit over this repeat issue?
