Will the Festool 493912 Edge Guide fit on the ETS EC 125/3 EQ?

No that one is for the Rotex RO 125.
Actually there is no edge guide for the ETS EC 125.
Only for the ETS 125 en ETSC 125 (201690).

As neeleman said, they don't fit out of the box, but I know that if I wanted an edge guide on my ETS EC 125/3 EQ I would find a way to adapt one.

Why would they have one that fits all their 125mm sanders except for the EC model??

It's not a single model but a separate edge guard for each sander. I guess they didn't make one for the EC sanders because they primarily aimed those at the automotive sector. A bit short-sighted of course to think people don't want to use them for anything they want.

I’ve been toying with the idea of trying to get a 3D print fabricator to make one for my ets ec, have you been successful at modding the guard from the rotex or the brushed ets?
