ETS EC Turbo Bag

Are there any plans to make a turbo bag for the new ETS EC sander? I have a 125 that I just purchased but I'm considering returning it as, it's pretty much useless when not connected to a DC. So when I'm not in my workshop and doing something in the house as a reno (not going to lug around the CT26 up and down stairs just to sand something small, so let's not use that as a suggestion), I find myself going back to my old sander that has a filter bag. Otherwise, I really like the sander but I feel like this is a huge shortcoming?? Thanks!

No, this isn't feasible with the ETS EC sanders. With the ergonomic design and compact motor, the ECs do not have an internal fan like our regular ETS sanders do.

Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately it does seem I will need to return this and try to find an ETS or Pro 5 on the used market. I hope it is taken into future consideration that lugging around a DC isn't always feasible and having two high priced sanders that do the same thing just to have a bag isn't a smart use of money. I love the EC, but spend much time sanding stuff outside of my workshop where my DC is built into a system that would be difficult to undo every time I needed to lug it around.

I really dislike sanding with a dust bag. There's always so many dust left, which I find unacceptable, especially when sanding indoors. The built in fan of a sander is nowhere near as efficient as a full vac.

I agree lugging the CT26 up the stairs isn't much fun though, so that's why I prefer to use my CTL Mini over my 26 when I'm on the move. The stairs problem is suddenly non-existent. And bring a CT-SYS with you, and you hardly even notice anymore you've got a vac with you.

The ETS EC is designed mainly for use in the automotive sector. Nobody uses a dust bag there. They're all attached to vacs.
