With the strong pound the euro prices in Germany appear cheaper than in the UK when converted, so does anyone buy their tools while visiting! Does this currency difference upset any UK dealers who probably have a fixed UK dealer pricelist!

Don't forget to buy tools in Germany you also have to pay to get there and back. So unless you are going there on holiday and pick some bits up while your there, you'll be paying more in the long run.

Absolutely JW, I mentioned 'while visiting' and I'm not popping over to Germany, just looking at family trips abroad (was France) and the strength of the pound or the weakness of the euro means getting more holiday for the money and that just made me wonder about it  [laughing]  I would imagine UK dealers have £ dealer price lists but I know some businesses operating Euro price lists are affected by currency movements maybe smiling at the moment  ;D

Why all the hassle?
Just order them from a German dealer like Gerschwitz.
It's one of the best in the country with very competitive prices.
Especially on Festool accessories like system parts or abrasives
Shipping to England only cost €14,90 till 25 kg.
For that you can't drive to Germany.
