Here ya go, keeping it simple.
Retired engineer:
LH pocket: Some folded bills and an iPhone. No scratched display here.
RH pocket: A key fob with ONE key and a small Gerber.

A little background about me certainly helps explain my EDC choices. 

About 3 years ago I was given the opportunity to do something for a living that I loved my whole live; I got to become a full time, professional Carpenter!

Before that I spent 10 years in corporate world as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Manager.

I began my adult life by serving 24 years in the United States Marine Corps; primarily in Field Artillery and Embassy Security.  I retired in 2004 as a Master Sergeant.

Before that I earned Eagle Scout.

I do carry band-aids and Tylenol, but to me what is critical is the ability to respond to traumatic injuries, hence the trama kit, complete with Trache Tube, Clotting Sponges, and Tourniquet.  I have been well trained in First Aid and other First Responder Disciplines.  I have come to believe that given my training I have an obligation to be just a little better prepared than the average bear.

Not to mention, I simply like tools and gadgets! [cool]

I've upgraded my EDC.

The Tale of Knives T Tux Double Clip Multitool + Flashlight belt organizer arrived today.  It came right within their promised 6-8 week window (each item is custom made).  It feels like a really well made quality product.  It was a snug fit getting the items into the leather slots, but that should get easier once then leather is broken in.

I purchased an Olight Warrior Mini, BIGiDESIGN Ti Click EDC Pen, and Leatherman Free P4 while I was waiting for my belt organizer to arrive.

You might check out www.CountyComm.com - they do a lot of tactical gear for the military and have some excellent flashlights and other items that might be of interest.  Their favorite material seems to be titanium!

I carry a Wallet, iPhone, Apple Watch, Chapstick, Keychain, cash in a money clip.  If I'm out on a walk, I'll bring my AirPod Pro's.

My keyring is based on a Snap-on 1/4" universal that lets me quickly separate car key from other items with a Streamlight Nano, a small prybar and nut wrench from CountyComm, house key and car key.

Pocketknife is a Swiss Army MiniChamp.  It's about the size of a Chapstick, but packs a lot of punch.  It includes nail file, tweezers, ballpoint pen, two blades, orange peeler, scissors, cuticle tool, straight screwdriver with English and metric ruler on it, and a Phillips screwdriver.

By far, the ballpoint pen on the knife captures the most attention when I'm signing just about any document.

Wow countycomm sure does like titanium!

The batteries in my Streamlight Nano are dead and have been for a while.  I think I checked a few years ago and it was going to be more expensive to buy replacement batteries than it would be to buy a brand new Streamlight Nano that comes with batteries.  Not sure if this is still the case, but this factor was one of the driving reasons I've tried to move to rechargeable flashlights.

As much as everyone has gone "paperless" or "electronic" - I still find it invaluable having a pen on me!

I used to always keep my keys in my front right pocket, but a while back I decided to get a belt key holder.

Initially, I was hesitant at first having my keys hanging out there.  I was afraid I might lose them and I also wasn't crazy about the the look of keys dangling from my belt, but...

I have to say this has been a game changer.  It's made locking the car super easy.  Before I'd be digging/fumbling around in my pocket, unsure of the key fob orientation so I wasn't exactly sure what button I might be pressing.  Now the keys are always hanging in the same position so I know exactly where the lock button is.

Fallkniven U2, cos its very small, lightweight, pretty unobtrusive but has a blade made from excellent quality steel. Nothing flash.

I honestly hope that Britain never gets rough enough that I ever feel the need to cart a gun about every day.
To me thats third world type of stuff and I just don't need it in my life.

I’ve pared down to one credit card, a few bills, and my driver’s license (no wallet) but still have to carry a bunch of keys.

It's refreshing to hear how some people prefer to not carry a lot of extra stuff with them.  I do sometimes feel weighed down with all the crap I'm carrying in my pockets.

I made a slight modification to my Leatherman Free P4 that I saw on Youtube.

I used my Work Sharp Ken Onion Blade Grinder Attachment to grind down the philips screwdriver so it would be narrow enough for the Bit Driver to fit over.

There was a surprising amount of material that needed to be removed.  At first, I tried to be careful and patiently grind down each corner.  But after a while I got impatient (like I always do) and just started grinding away without checking the fit as often.

As a result, the Bit Driver is a little loose when slid over the philips screwdriver.  The good news is that I found using either a tissue or a paper towel over the philips bit was good enough to take up the slack and remove the slight bit of looseness.

I recently purchased this really cool pen after I saw it in a YouTube video.  It's 3-in-1 - it's got a black ballpoint, red ballpoint, and a .5mm pencil (with eraser)!  There may be similar products out there, but I've never seen anything like this.
