That stand might very well be a makita original part. We have one of those planers laying around somewhere in a wooden box and I recognize the orange safety thing.

/edit: Just checked to confirm, the stand came with the planer, looks like the first picture, so without the curved cradle in the cast aluminum. Ours is a 220V 1805B.
