Hello, FOG friends.

It's with mixed emotions that I let you know that I will be leaving Festool at the end of the week. I have sincerely loved my four years with Festool, and I'll miss calling this place home. Thank you for letting me be part of the FOG community.

Although there are plans to backfill my role, for now please address all customer service questions or issues to [member=101]Festool USA[/member]. This account will be monitored by a few of my colleagues.

I would like to specifically thank [member=1674]Peter Halle[/member] and [member=1619]SRSemenza[/member] for the countless hours — and years! — that they have put into the FOG community. They have supported this forum, and they have offered a lot of advice, encouragement, and feedback to me over the last four years. THANK YOU!

If you know someone who might be a good fit for (a variation of) my job, please send them the job description. (We're also hiring a Marketing Director for Festool Canada.) https://festoolusa.applicantstack.com/x/openings

Thanks and farewell.

I've worked with Sedge a lot on his Instagram account. When I put in my notice, my one request was to finally be in one of the videos!

There're some BIG shoes to fill here when it comes to helping FOG members.

I have never needed a service from Festool, but often FOG members who encountered service issues through the formal channel have been advised to contact you. That says a lot about your helpfulness and resourcefulness.

Thanks Tyler, and best of luck to you.

Off topic: How do I find an e-mail for Sedge (or anyone else at headquarters)? The one I have for Sedge from 4-5 years ago bounces.

Kind regards

I'm always a bit uncomfortable giving out someone's contact info without their permission, and unfortunately Sedge is out of the office this week. Honestly, the fastest way to get in touch with Sedge is to send him a message on Instagram (@festoolsedge). He's ALWAYS on Instagram. [smile]

Don‘t know what to say. I wish you all the best, Tyler! Whatever you‘re going to do or who you are going to work for, I hope it‘s rewarding and fulfilling for you!

You have done an incredible job as FOG Admin, you‘ll be missed!

Again, all the best!

Kind regards,
Oliver

Tyler, Thank you for all your help and iwish you the best where ever your going.

Best of luck Tyler -- from what ive observed, you did an admirable job being an advocate for ppl thing to get stuff fixed, and also remained cool and unfazed when you had to be the heatshield absorbing things like Kapex complaints. Well done.

Best to you Tyler. Thank you for your help when I had an issue a few years ago. I greatly appreciated it.

Thanks for your time here on the FOG and assistance to myself and all when needed.

Best wishes in whatever comes next for you. Hopefully you won't drop off the planet
