fein multi master

I duno, im not convinced.  I dont think any of the cordless ones will last very long on a charge.  Personally i would recomend staying with the Feinn.
Although, something tells me you will have one before too long JMB  [poke]

The AEG looks nice and all, but remember AEG is only a semi-professional brand and not made up to real pro standards. Semi professional means it is just a little step up from brands like B&D.

Dr. Dovetail, I think you're right.  I believe AEG is owned by the same Chinese parent company.

first off the aeg has a 3 year warranty ::) [wink] so cant be that bad.

i ordered a fein MM top plus kit today. should be here tuesday

i ordered it off an irish importer in Dublin. the top plus cost 300 euro to my door. not too bad as i was quoted 370 + vat from my local tool store that was getting it from him . it arrived this morning. it cuts faster than i expected. when the supplied blades need replacing i will buy a selection from each scource and test them all out

Cheers for that Chriss, i will give them a try.

Let me know how you get on with them . I have only tried the jap teeth blades once and they were the real Fein ones. No work at the moment so no tool buying for me for a bit  [sad]

HI Alan, you won't be disappointed with the Fein MM. I like you hesitated for a while, but you won't believe how handy it is. I use it nearly on every job. Excellent for flooring jobs, cutting bottom of door linings etc.
Yes blades are expensive but last ok unless you hit metal. tried a few cheaper versions seem ok.
They do a cordless Fein MM now but that is mega expensive and new on market, it is supposed to be as good as the corded one.

Bosch 250!  your having a laugh!   Bosch doesnt come close to the Fein lol!   The Bosch 300 (dont think they do a 350)  it has a quick release which looks mint cus its so fast and quick which is a good sign but not used it so cant comment on the 300 model.

I've only used the Fein and am delighted by how that works. In Germany at exhibitions, Bosch lend WSE machines to show off as they do a good demo. The guy who demo's them told me he thinks both Bosch machines are better than the Fein but I've not had a go.
WSE have brought out a blade that they say can cut 12 to 14 Spax 4-5mm screws at a push. I've used that and I'm still doing demo's with the same one after over a dozen so far.
Just seen the video, the fire brigade are on the way! Get everyone out!!!

Hi fellows,
A year or so ago I purchased a Fein MM...great tool right!  Well it seems like everytime I happen to be somewhere that I might need it I don't have it.  The other night I was at a friends house rewiring his kitchen.  I was talking about buying a few new blades for my drywall hole saw when he said why not use my multi tool.  He handed me a Ridgid cordless 12v saw...I thought to myself oh this is going to work great....sarcastically......to my surprise this thing worked great.  I'm telling you guys this thing worked wonderfully.  He had been using it all day and the blade was pretty shot and I was cutting thru 80 year old plaster with wire mess and lath.  I'm telling you I was impressed how well this thing worked.  At the same time his other buddy was in the bath cutting plaster with a Rockwell corded machine.  I asked if I could try it to see which one I liked best and to be honest I liked  the Ridgid a bit better.  One reason it seemed to hold the blades a bit better but that might have been because his was heavily used.  Well on my way to his house this morning I stopped at the Sears Clearance center and they had them reconditioned for $53.00, regularly $119.00......Plus it takes up little room compared to the case for the Fein MM.  If you are an occassional user buy the Ridgid 12v cordless....I'm telling you it works pretty darn good.....I've been reading reviews on the internet and most people speak highly of them.....
