Felder FB 600 Band Saw Blades

New member to the board (although I am a long time lurker who gas benefited greatly from the knowledge here).

I am a proud new owner of a lightly used Felder FB 600 band saw that I was able to buy for what I felt was an excellent price. My first challenge was just to load it into my truck which was solved by taking the table, motor, and lower flywheel off, along with having a six foot plus son to help out.

Now I need to be able to source blades for the beast. So, my question is where do the members purchase blades for the large saws like this? According to the manual it uses a 4520 mm length blade.

Hi, welcome to the FOG.

You didn't specify where you're from so it's hard to be specific about where to shop for blades but a quick google search for bandsaw blades will probably come up with a company near you. Bandsaw blades can be ordered in any length.

I'm Canadian and I get mine from R&D Bandsaws.

I have an FB610 and I get my blades from BandSawBladesDirect.com. My favorite blade for resawing is the Lenox Tri-Master Carbide 3/4" 3TPI.
