Fence Angle Locking Lever

I ran into a situation where the Fence Angle Locking Lever on my Domino 500 contacted my work piece when the lever was tightened.

What is the proper method of relocating the locking lever's position?

Remove the retaining screw, finger tighten the hex, clock the handle as needed.

I have an extra retainer in each of my Domino Systainers, I've broken a couple of them over the years. Sucks not to have the parts to repair on hand.
