I've got to replace a fence out in the yard soon and I'm wondering if the Domino would be a good way to secure the rails/stringers to the posts rather than screwing or toenailing them in.
Is the problem having a domino piece in the joint that isn't preserved, or couldn't you just dip them in preservative?
Just wondering if anyone's tried it.
thanks,

We have replaced our 5 year old fence with pin version of Domino last year and have no problem with that.

The Sipo Mahogany dominoes are meant for outdoor applications.  No preservative is needed.  They do get a bit spendy, though.
