Rich,
The video is fantastic!  It and the pics answered a lot of questions.  Thanks for sharing with all of us.

Don't know how I missed this thread originally but they are some sweet modifications and additions and some great organisational tips.

Thanks for posting!  I recently purchased an MFT-3 and was working on plans for a project like this; however, now seeing yours sends me back to the drawing board.  The router table section seems small though- do you find it to be versatile enough for larger boards?

Thanks,
Gerald

Gerald I have not built my router fence yet but the plan is I can place the fence in any orientation. I made the router table top adjustable so I can raise it up and down if needed so it always planes across with the Festool top.

That said I have a really large router table top if needed.

Space limitations. And if you consider the fact the router tables planes with the mft it make a large router table.

Thanks a lot for the info! Also do you have any more details on how you connected the Moxon vise to the MFT?

Just attached to 1080 with T bolts. Countersunk holes for nuts on back moxon jaw. The moxon sits firmly on mobile bench top so  the two T bolts just hold it in place.
