Apologies if this has been asked before --
Can I use my Festool 125 random orbit sander as a buffer to apply and buff out (say) a wax finish on a project? If so, what accessories do I need -- the sanding hook and loop pad, but what should I have as the actual pad for the wax?
I love this sander and use it all the time. It meets my needs very well, and I find it makes quick work of anything, including removing the tenons from bowls I have turned (so, a fair amount of wood removal). Admittedly, I don't work on a lot of large projects or surfaces. What does having one of the other (much pricier) sanders offer?
Thanks,
-Dan
