Hey guys,

As the first day of 2015 winds down for me, I find myself thinking (and looking) back on my dive into the Festool world. Naturally, my thoughts move towards what new Festools I want or will purchase and what Festools I wish were here in NA. So, what's on your guys wishlist for 2015? Or better yet, what have you purchased on this 1st day of the year?

First 2015 Festool purchase - RO 125 ordered today

Festool Wishlist - PDC!

for me it would be the belt sander with sanding plate and the edgee bander, the PDC wouldnt make mme upset either

My 2015 Festool wish is to have a TS insert for the CMS.  I have a table saw but I don't use it much and it takes up lots of space.  If the TS insert was available (and supported with warranty) in the US I think that would be ideal for my needs.

I'm not sure if need or just want but ...........the RO 90 and accessories are on the list and the same as a second MFT/3. After reading a thread the other day where you could align a TS 75 and TS 55REQ to use the same guide rails I'm going to look at the TS 55REQ to potentially join the collection.
Currently the only thing I really need is more shop time to work on more projects.

cheers

According to UPS tracking, the edging plate and chip deflector for my 1010 are scheduled to be delivered this afternoon.  None too soon so I can flush trim the edge banding on some curved shelves.

I'm thinking of either the HL850 or the 150/3 for 2015.  I don't have space for a jointer, so the 850 would give me some capabilities for boards that are too narrow for my TS.  Or the 150/3, since I've been experimenting more with sanding at grits above 800.  We shall see...

LR32 set, some systainers for organisation and maybe the new CXS that takes 10mm drill or maybe TXS. A jigsaw would also be nice!

I thinking.....
  MFS 400 w/700 rails
  RO 150
  FS 3000/2
  LS 130
  A few more Syslites

Non Festool, really want the big Grizzly Oscillating Spindle Sander Model G1071...

I would like to get the Domino XL but I really want to get a good quality bandsaw, I'm thinking an Agazanni.  I dought both will happen since the bandsaw is a bit pricey.

Its been a while since I looked at the Dominos, most likely because I know they're price. I just looked at them and promptly exited the window, only letting myself wish for them for a second.

I wish festool made 1.5ah 18v batteries.

While I love the long life of the 4.2ah batteries, sometimes I would much rather less bulk and weight. I picked up an old protool version that works ok, but I'd love more.

These 1.5 Ah batteries were made for the Protool PDC 18 Compact.
A machine made for a short period of time. It had no Centrotec chuck but a fixed Jacobs chuck.
With the conversion to Festool it's discontinued.
I sometimes use my Protool PDC 18/4 with 12V-1.3 Ah batteries from my C12.
Works good although it runs at a slower speed.
The BPC 12-1.5 Ah batteries can still be bought.
However the Protool 1.5 Ah batteries are discontinued and can only be found on ebay or from leftovers in some shops.
Have you contacted Warren from Toolfest yet abo[attachimg=2]ut some leftover Protool batteries?

Thanks for that info. However, while I love my small protool battery, I have a feeling that it's age is letting it down. I bought it as 'new old stock' and I find that it probably doesn't hold as a good a charge as it should, compared to other 1.5ah batteries I have had on other drills.

Regardless of this i really enjoy the lighter weight, and I still might pick up another one or two, but I'd love the chance to pick up some brand new ones in festool colours.
