Festool 561526 CMS set questions

Hi Guys,

I wonder if you can help me,

I have been looking into getting the CMS system, I would like to start with the ts55r, I have found a set the Festool 561526, which includes the cms basic, ts55 mounting plate, sliding table and ts55 saw. the set is just shy of £900 which isn't much more then buying the cms parts and sliding table individually without the saw, so seems a bargain.

The website I have found it on is FFX from what I understand, the old ts55 is supplied with it,  does anyone know if this set has been updated to include the TS55R and if so what would the product number be? or is this why the set seems like a bargain.

on another note do the CMS mounting kits for the TS55 and TS55R differ? as in can I buy the set sell the saw and use my TS55R

I fear if I get this kit it'll be the router and insert next!

also how effective is the jigsaw plate at scroll saw work or is it one to be avoided?

I'm not aware that there is a CMS-TS 55 R Set available in the UK at this time. It's definitely on the DE website (P/N 561566), but it's not on the UK website and there are no UK dealers that seem to be stocking it. Perhaps a call to Festool would confirm?

The Module mounting CMS-TS 55 (P/N 493359) is different to the Module mounting CMS-TS 55 R (P/N 570281) so you won't be able to swap your TS 55 R saw in if you bought the FFX version that ships with the TS 55.

cheers, I cant find anyone in the UK selling that set at the moment, might be rolled out later in the year, will call my dealer tomorrow see how much that one will hurt.

I think that I noticed this a while back and notified Festool UK about the omission.
